Michael Tallman, CFP®, CTFA believes that financial success isn’t just about wealth—it’s about clarity, security, and the freedom to focus on what matters most. With over 20 years in financial services, Mike’s journey began in banking, where he saw firsthand the impact of financial strain. As a loan officer, he met too many individuals burdened by debt, often when it was too late to change course. That experience fueled his desire to take a more proactive role—helping clients build strong financial foundations before challenges arise.
Drawn to HFG’s commitment to putting clients first, Mike joined the firm in 2004. Since earning his Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification in 2006 and Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation in 2016, he has guided individuals and families in growing and preserving their wealth with a down-to-earth, common-sense approach. Whether preparing for retirement or structuring an estate plan, he helps clients make informed decisions that align with their goals and values.
Beyond his work, Mike is deeply engaged in his community. A former City Council President in Boardman, Oregon, he remains active in professional and civic organizations throughout the Tri-Cities.
