Nick Haberling brings a deep appreciation for history, strategy, and stewardship to his work with families and business owners at HFG Trust. A Kennewick native and graduate of Gonzaga University, his path to financial advising was shaped early on by his interest in economics and a front-row seat to HFG’s mission of guiding clients with intention and care.
Before joining the firm in 2020, Nick spent three years with TD Ameritrade, where he advised financial professionals across the country. This national perspective proved invaluable when he returned home to help lead HFG’s strategic growth outside the Tri-Cities. Today, that same experience helps Nick work closely with business owners as they navigate succession planning and legacy decisions.
Nick served as a military intelligence officer in the U.S. Army Reserves, a role that honed his analytical mindset and deepened his commitment to disciplined decision-making.
Outside of the office, Nick and his wife, Mikayla, stay busy raising their two young children, Elias and Madilyn. He enjoys reading, golfing, and pursuing the occasional creative side project.
